French for beginners

Discover French this summer  in our beginner class designed for adults with little or no prior experience.   Learn everyday phrases, basic grammar, and practical conversation for travel, work, or simple curiosity.

This course is for adult learners who want to build practical foundational French skills while discovering the richness of French culture, customs, and everyday life.

Classes will be held Saturdays from June 20 to August 22  3:00pm – 4:30pm.

Grammar is introduced as a practical support tool, helping learners move beyond memorized phrases and develop the confidence to read, understand, and create their own sentences.  The focus is on comprehension, communication, and cultural awareness rather than perfection.

Group classes are small, relaxed, and in-person. You’ll practice speaking from day one, explore French culture, and connect with others in Tulsa who share your interest

Interested?  Send a mail to hold a spot to classes@aftulsa.org.  And we’ll let you know more details and how to pay.
