Tulsa Spotlight Theater is proud to re-present Ann Hargrave-Knight in her one-act play “Beyond the Tomb” on Sunday, May 12 (please note this event was previously scheduled for February 9). Doors open at 6:15PM and a catered dinner from Ed’s Cajun Restaurant will include one free drink.
Come hear the true stories of this eccentric Grand-Mere who embraced a passion for New Orleans through love, heartbreak, humor, betrayal, and redemption in the early days of the 20th century.
The vision of May Constance emerging from her tomb at 5 Lewis Cathedral Cemetery No. 1 in New Orleans allows Ann’s Grandma May to be able to tell her story without any insult. Ann captures the heart of May and convinces her audience not only of the reality of the eccentric Grande Mere, but embraces a position for the New Orleans of the past. With passion and emotion, patrons of this event will be moved by her portrayal of this fascinating story.
Ann’s portrayal will touch all hearts, whether or not you come from French decent or southern upbringing. You will be captivated by the emotional portrayal of this fascinating story.
