Tulsa’s German Sister City Partnership of Celle hosts a specially arranged presentation by Michelle Place, Executive Director of the Tulsa Historical Society titled:
“Story Behind the Golden Driller Ride in France – How Tulsa made its mark on France!”
Who would have thought… Tulsa’s Golden Driller was an inspiration for an amusement park ride in north-east France!
Come hear Michelle Place talk of her trip to France last June with Kathy Taylor and Karen Keith as they met with French officials and actually rode the Golden Driller. She will share the amazing but true story of how this came to be, reinforcing Tulsa’s connection to France and our Sister City, Amiens.
