Petite Fille

Bonjour mes amis!
Here we are again, reaching out with news from the Sacramento French Film Festival and their latest Friday Film series offering! They have announced two films remaining in this series. Petite Fille is scheduled on April 30th (thru May 3rd). Following this award-winning film screening, they are hosting the director, Sebastien Lifshitz for an audience Q&A virtually that you can join on May 2 . The virtual discussions with filmmakers (with the help of their very own SFFF interpreter Marie) have been really popular and this is such a beautiful film.
Petite Fille is about a young trans girl in a small French community and documents her family as they work towards her acceptance in the community and particularly at school. The link to the SFFF page is shared, below, as well as an online review, if you’d like to read more.
We can, once again, extend a discount to our AF de Tulsa members and thank you once again for sharing this post with French film enthusiasts as appropriate. The code for the 10% discount can be received by replying to RSVP@aftulsa.org
We can soon announce their screening in May. Their annual summer film festival kicks off in June with the “format to be determined,” but even if they make it back into the cinema, we will surely still receive virtual options to share with you, our audience.
Bon spectacle! With special thanks to SFFF!
