Join Alliance Française de Tulsa and local, invited students on Saturday, May 19th from noon-1:30pm at the “Vintage Gardens” on the West side of Tulsa Historical Society to play Pétanque, a favorite French leisure sport. Experienced players team up with novices to enjoy this exciting game. We will play and award prizes in doubles and singles. No previous experience is necessary and all equipment is provided … dirt, balls and a pig!
Food and drink are potluck, picnic-style. In addition to your lawn chair or picnic blanket, we ask attendees to bring their favorite, sliced fruit to share in our AF de Tulsa “community fruit bowl.” Pétanque is fun for people of all ages and there’s no charge to participate. Members and nonmembers are welcome. Pétanque is a family-friendly activity. Enjoy fresh air, bright sunshine, French conversation, food and sport in this ideal garden setting. Alliance Française de Tulsa hopes to see you at the Tulsa Historical Society (2445 South Peoria, Tulsa 74114) to play Pétanque on Saturday, May 19th, 2018.
In case of inclement Tulsa weather, we will offer a historical, timeline of our non-profit Alliance Française de Tulsa organization within the Tulsa Historical Society Audio-Visual room from 11:30am-1:00pm, at the same address: 2445 South Peoria, Tulsa, 74114.
